Find something for everyone on your shopping list (and for yourself) at one of the more than 120 boutiques inside The Shoppes at Brownstone Village. Among the many treasures you’ll find: premium denim, trendy tops, home décor, kids’ stuff, jewelry/accessories, plus a full-service salon and El Gabacho Tex-Mex restaurant.
The Shoppes at Brownstone Village
2408 W. Abram St.
Hours: Monday-Saturday 10am-6pm; Sunday 1pm – 5pm; Salon: Mon-Sat 8:30am-8pm
Believe it or not, this fun shopping spot with over 20,000 square feet of boutique shoppes was once a roller skating rink! Now it’s a place to shop, eat, and relax.
Got your husband/boyfriend with you and he’s slowing you down as you try to shop? El Gabacho (my favorite Tex-Mex restaurant in all of Arlington) is inside The Shoppes, so let him have a beer or margarita at the bar (while watching sports) and you take your time strolling among the 120 boutiques.

Info on the Spa: The Salon at Brownstone Village has gotten a refined updo, revamped and restyled. The 16 suites that line the halls are full of talented, smiling faces that specialize in bringing your best features forward. Salon hours are Monday through Saturday, 8:30am-8pm.
The salon has hair stylists, nail technicians, estheticians and a masseuse whose goals are nothing more than to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable salon experience. With new ownership, The Salon is now one with The Shoppes, so be looking for special promotions with the salon staff along with new fashions to be showcased in the salon halls.
For the list of technicians at the spas along with phone numbers to call for appointments, go to this site, then click on “The Salon” and scroll down: http://www.brownstonevillage.com/.
If you like Mexican food, one of the top (actually, my favorite) Mexican restaurant in town is right here at Brownstone Village: El Gabacho. If you’re not hungry, at least stop in for a margarita (you’ll be thirsty after all that shopping)!!
